More Elite AEs at SSM

Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 5:12pm

Congratulations to Craig Hudson and Dave Ashford, two of our technical team who have just been awarded the exclusive 'Elite Application Engineer' status by SolidWorks.

This is achieved by proving a high level of technical expertise across the full range of SolidWorks tools and is tested by examination. In fact, to achieve Elite status requires sitting a total of 15 separate exams many of which are over 2 hours long. Subjects that must be passed are: Technical Support; CSWP; SolidWorks Expert, Simulation Professional, Flow Simulation, Enterprise Data Management, 3DVia and Sustainability.

If you think these exams are easy, be assured SolidWorks set the bar high - in fact some exams have an 80% failure rate!

Craig and Dave now join the other 12 Elite AEs at Solid Solutions, reinforcing our current position as the best qualified SolidWorks support team in the world.

This means that we are able to support our customers effectively in a world that is increasingly demanding.

Well done guys!
