Announcing the New 3D ContentCentral

Monday June 29, 2015 at 2:31pm
3DContentCentral is a great online resource allowing you to take advantage of a vast library of SOLIDWORKS CAD models and Macros (applications). You can choose to download supplier parts, or more recreational items, as well as opening account to upload your own components to share to new prospective customers.

The site has just undergone an overhaul to streamline its processes- but the key is that the site is still FREE to sign up to. Over 1.3 million users have signed up to the website and some of the highlights of the new facelift include:

- New User Experience- modern look and feel, enhancing user experience and making easier to browse the website to find CAD models, library features, 2D blocks and macros.
- New 3D and 2D Preview- no downloadable plug in is required. eDrawings Viewer now utilises WebGL technology in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11 and mobile browsers.
- New Search- search technology enhances the users' experience and helps them find content quickly and efficiently.

So go and check it out, there are millions of models to download and no doubt something you can make use of in your existing SOLIDWORKS Assemblies.
