Where to find your SOLIDWORKS serial number on your machine

Ever wondered where you can find your SOLIDWORKS serial number or wondered what version of SOLIDWORKS you're currently working on? This is a common question we receive and can be easy to find if you know where to look. In this blog post we show you how to navigate and find your SOLIDWORKS serial number.
  1. Open SOLIDWORKS.
  2. In versions 2020 and up, click the ? button and then ‘About SOLIDWORKS’

  3. In version below 2020, click ‘Help’ then ‘About SOLIDWORKS’
  4. Select ‘Show Serial Number’
