Why SOLIDWORKS Essentials?
The SOLIDWORKS Essentials course is recommended to anyone new to SOLIDWORKS. Whether you have migrated from 2D CAD, another 3D system, or have no experience with CAD at all this course is suitable for you.

Starting from the very basics of the program, the course develops looking at modelling essentials required for day to day use of the software, right through to some advanced topics for automating designs. Part and Assembly modelling and also the 2D drawing environment are introduced during this course.

PREREQUISITES
  • Experience navigating around the Windows Operating System
  • Getting Started Tutorials- (Help > SOLIDWORKS Tutorials)

I found the experience at the Leamington Spa very informative and I definitely learnt a lot in the 4 day essential course I was there. The course I received from my tutor James Hankins was extremely helpful and made even easier to understand due to his in depth knowledge of the course and its software. I couldn't have asked for a better person to take me through the course as he made things I would have originally found difficult seem very simple to understand, I honestly do not have any faults for the coursed or trainer and only took positives away from the course.

Josh's product knowledge was very good, and John's help proved invaluable. The venue was neat, clean and easy to get to and the food provided was very tasty.
Although Josh was initially very softly spoken, after a couple of days he relaxed and his delivery improved dramatically. He was also proactive in terms of making the presentation more visible- changing windows setting and vastly improving my ability to follow.
